20 Names in 60 Seconds Party Game

31 May
Great to know you want to have a different and fun game to help increase obtaining names and phone numbers at your parties! Want a continuous flow of names?
Print and do this at every party. You will be amazed. The people who play will have created their own PARTY right in front of you or at least a new customer, a new hostess from that list, a new recruit. You will be amazed when worked correctly what this can do for your business.
LISTEN TO THIS RECORDING TO FOLLOW ALONG WITH THE DOCUMENT-  http://www.talkshoe.com/tc/128103

Intention of this game: is to collect as many names and phone numbers you can in 60 seconds

Items needed: Have them with their cell phone out, paper, pens and you need a timer set to a minute.

  1. Have a sheet of paper or index cards and pen to hand out to each guest (hostess not necessary)
  2. Say to them the following: “Ok, ladies place your name at top of the paper and we are going to play a game. Take your cell phones out.” Wait. “OK, turn them on if they are off”. “Not now, let me explain. The person, who can write down as many local friends’ names, relationship to you and phone numbers on the paper I handed you, will win a prize.” Make sure no one starts, if so say WAIT.
  3. “You have 60 seconds to do this. Most people have 8 names on the paper.” (That way you give them an idea of how many you expect to have. You do not want 3 names).
  4. “The person with the most names will receive _________________. “Now this is up to you. A dollar amount off their order or best would be a free prize.
  5. Again tell them to wait. “When I say go, you can start. Again 60 seconds for as many names you can and you win.” ***If someone asks what you will do with these names tell them you will let them know later after the game. If they do not wish to participate that is ok.

–After the time of 60 seconds.

Find the winner. NOW you will use all these names HOWEVER only one winner to get the prize. If there is a tie give two gifts out.

  1. Tell them to please call or text your list that you will be calling them.

Say “You have now created your own guest list for your party!” Now go into the Hostess Rewards. If you want to host a show and give me a date today, the hostess will get _________. If you do not wish to host a show THAT IS OK. I offer one on one styling consultations (shopping, pampering- whatever you do) at your home or office.”

–When you get home.

Call all of the people on the list. Introduce yourself and how you got their number.

If you leave a voicemail be short and friendly. If you have them on the phone make sure they have a couple of minutes to talk. If they are not into having a party or attend one say that is ok, I offer a free one on one consultation (and make it fun and attractive and personalized service)

What to get from this- a new client, new hostess, build rapport, a new party.

Nothing can be accomplished without proper follow up and its a numbers game so remember not everyone will call you back not everyone will host a show. But with persistence and building relationships a no today doesn’t mean no forever.

This is a good idea. And do you find that most people don’t mind writing down their friends’ phone numbers? Some people are edgy about that.

      Hi Tara
After you play the game, the person with the most names and numbers win. When you have already explained our hostess rewards from the beginning they want to play for the free prize. When you are at the table closing them, talk to them about the list they created already. This overcomes the fact when they say “I don’t know anybody” They just made a list of 10 people or more. If they do not want you to call then say they can call them especially if you are getting them to book a show. It is a tool to use. The more tools you have to overcome obstacles the better you will be at closing and booking.

Your welcome. Let me know how it works for you Coretta. It takes consistency though.
