2012 Commitment to Yourself

31 Dec

Every New Year we reflect on our past year and make commitments to a new beginning. Now is the opportunity to start new. You may look back and see what events worked the best for you, where to invest your time and money, which networking groups helped your business grow more. Maybe you are re-evaluating which marketing plans worked and which ones did not. Have you been reflecting on how you are thinking? Are you placing focus on the negative things happening in your life and wondering why you are not moving forward?

This is time to put away those negative thoughts. These are most likely obstacles only you placed in your own mind. You are good enough. You deserve the best. You are not afraid of success. Have fun with what you are doing. Have fun reaching your goals. Clean out old clutter and I am not talking about the items on your desk (although that should be organized), but the clutter in your mind. Don’t focus on things you have no control over. Flow with the river. Flow with the current of life. You cannot force things to happen in which you have no control over. Things in your life will happen with positive thought, selflessness and the genuine process of helping others. It will fall into place.

With that being said…commit to yourself to be a better you. Be a better person, give a little more, go out side of your comfort zone. As food feeds your body and knowledge feeds your brain. This year feed your soul. Volunteer your time to someone or for an organization. Send a small or large donation. Support your local temple or church. I am planning on doing more of that this year. I would love to hear what you will be doing.

All the best and God bless you and your family.
