Are You Results Driven or Process Driven?

There is a story I heard many months ago and I want to share it with you. There are two ladies, one named Michelle. The other named Beth. Both wanted to go to the gym early in the morning. So they both set their alarm on at 6 am, went to sleep and dreamt. They both have the determination to go to the gym. The alarm goes off at 6 am. Beth wakes up, steps on the floor and says, “Brrr, It is cold out. Forget it,” and goes back to bed.

Michelle wakes up says, “Brrrr it is cold out.” But you find her at the gym 30 minutes later. Now what is the difference with these two girls. Both set the alarm, both wanted to go to the gym, both woke up at the sound of the alarm.

Well, the difference is that Beth saw the process of going to the gym, waking up, feeling the cold floor and forgetting about the gym. Yet, Michelle, saw her results. Yes, she thought it was still cold. But she thought of the RESULTS. The results of getting fit, having more energy, ready to take charge of her day.

How can you apply this in your personal or business life? Making phone calls for me is tiring and I always put it off. But once I understand my results then the process does not bother me anymore.

So which girl are you? Are you result driven or process driven and where will this take you?
